2 mth puppy born with one blind eye. What should I expect health wise?
They are offering me a 2 mth puppy. He is born from a pure-bread miniature Chihuahua and Yorkie. He is so cute and
needs to be rescued.
My question is...
Would he need extra attention for the one eye?
Would he need special training?
What should I expect health wise as he grows and in the future? (the current owner says he is perfectly fine)

Once you take him to the vet, they should be able to tell you if you need anything special for the blind eye. But, I really don't think you do. He shouldn't need any special training except the training you would normally give him. He's born with a blind eye...so to him...that's natural and he will naturally make up for it by learning to see and look around with his other eye. The only thing I can think of, is, if you would come up to him on his blind side...and he doesn't hear you...you may startle him. That is easily rectified by calling his name whenever you approach him. Good Luck and good for you for rescuing him.
