How can I have a beautiful skin tone? Mine just looks so blah.?
I need something to correct my skin tone.
I have acne & scars.
I have different shades of skin all over my face especially my nose and my forehead. I really just want one tone or for my face to look awake. It only looks good when I put makeup on it. I hate it.
I heard that Olay Regenerist Thermal Mini Peel or Clinique Skin Tone Corrector works?
Maybe you could answer that for me?
I'm dying to finally find something to make my skin look good!

your skin can only change if you change your daily routine. and it has to be consistent. you cant expect a 180 change immediately but over time you should be able to see it.
first you need to get a good cleanser, one that doesnt dry you out. If you have acne, you probably have been using anti-acne products and on the long run its not good for you because its very drying. I use DHC cleansing oil and its so amazing. its really gentle and wipes off EVERY SINGLE TRACE OF MAKEUP. the best thing about it is the oil completely disintegrates when in contact with water. I know it sounds scary to wash your face with oil but trust me (along with about 5000+ others), there is a reason why this product is raved about. you might get some purging at first (where you seem to be getting more acne) but thats the product working. Once its cleansed deeply enough you will get no more zits. seriously. sometimes you can feel all those stubborn blackhead just come out when you massage the oil onto your face (no scars!) and your skin becomes so soft and your pores seem to dissapear. seriously though, this is starting to somewhat become a cut object.
the trick is to do it twice a day. it doesnt work if you dont continue on a regular basis, if you stop for a while and use it again it will just have to start the purging process again. You want to keep doing it until all that dirty, hardened sebum is out.
Also use a toner and a good moisturiser. Toner you can make yourself with one part apple cider vinegar, two parts water and some essential oils to balance the skin (such as tea tree, which is effective against pimples). the bad thing about it is that it smells (but works amazingly). use a toner to first wipe off most of the makeup, then wash your face, and then you can tone again if you want to get rid of excess face wash which will be left on your skin (i dont do this after the DHC oil, no need). What moisturizer to use is really depending on your skin. I use Jurlique calendula cream and am in love with it. Also make sure you moisturize (and wait for it to dry) before putting on make up, so there is a barrier between it and your skin. plus it makes your make up look better.
mask and exfoliate once a week. exfoliating will get rid of those dead skin skells that effect the texture of your skin. dont do this too often because it can dry it out. I like Lush's Dark angels, because it acts as an exfoliant and a mask. Dont scrub too hard or it can cause damage to your skin. What you can also do is use an aspirin mask. Aspirin has many good ingredients that help with acne. get about 4 tablets of uncoated aspirin and drop a couple of drops of water on it. it should break down to mush immediately. then mix with either jojoba oil or extra virgin olive oil to make a gritty paste. spread on face and wait for 20 min before washing it out (whilst rubbing in circles because this exfoliates as well). IT MAKES YOUR SKIN AMAZINGLY SOFT. like a baby. you can actually SEE the difference.
I know it seems scary to put oil on your face, but jojoba and EVOO consists of similar properties to that of sebum (the oil yor body produces), and therefor you can trick your body to believing is YOUR oil and therefor reducing the production of oil, because your body doesnt think it needs to. extra oiliness is due to the stripping of oil on your face, which is why you should not blot too often. it'll just make you oilier on the long run.
you can also try a sea salt mask. the minerals from the sea improve the complexion, which is why people who come back from beach holidays often have that glow...
or you can buy a face brush, i know DHC has a realy good one. you use it to wash your face instead of rub with your hands. its a gentle exfoliation.

Il leave it to you to figure out the site. I just gave you products which i have searched for myself, they have the highest ratings and most ratings which is why its reliable. I also read the reviews thoroughly to see which products have made the biggest improvement to the skin (you can tell by the gushing). Im not the type to just try based on a few reviews cause its not worth the damage it could potentially cause my skin (as was many a times where i bought stuff i just wanted to try). but seriously these products have seriously changed my LIFE. well no, that was an exaggeration. But my skin does look really good:)
