Should I take Mega Men's Sport multi vitamin before a workout?
Like 1 hour before my workout?
Okay...I am no doctor, but I would think you'd want to maximize the absorption and benefits of the nutrition you receive from the supplement; and to that end, depending on whether it is time released, you'd want to ingest the supplement with food well before you workout.
For example, if you workout in the morning, take your supplement with Dinner. If you prefer to work out during lunch hours take it with Breakfast (you know you shouldn't be missing this important meal). Or, if after a day at work you need to work out more than your muscles (he, he), then take your supplement with lunch.
btw, don’t EVER forget to eat something, i.e. protein shake/smoothie, or just a banana, within fifteen minutes after working out. This is the ONE way you help your body to recover quickly, and prepare it for the next workout.
Depending how often you work out, how intense, and your age it may behoove you to take an ibuprofen before AND after working out. As you know, ibu’s help prevent inflammation, thereby alleviating pain.
