During the last 60 years, anti aging and food values have taken somewhat of a battering. My mother has taught us girls to moisturize in the morning and moisturize before bed time. Never use a harsh soap on your face but use a light cleanser. I personally have only used soap on my face about 3 times in my life. Soap strips your face of its natural oils. So you want to use a light cleanser. My skin is normal to dry, so I use Oil of Olay for sensitive skin. My mother is 73 but looks 45. I am 41, but I am told I look 20. So you really need to take care of your skin including your face. At night time you can cleanse your face and use your moisturizing lotion. You can also after putting your lotion on...use your serum from Oil of Olay as well. Put it around your eyes. Not alot, use your finger to dab it around your eyes but blend in well. If your face looks oily, you have used just a little too much moisturizer.

I also use this lotion from Avon to remove my make-up. It is in a bottle and it is a white lotion (eye make-up remover). This also conditions around the eyes and eyelids as well. It is really good and takes off mascara great.You want to put it around your eyes and wipe of with a wet washcloth. Of course don't get it in your eye, it does burn. Just be careful using it, but it is the best.

I remember the time when my mother showed me my grandma's photo. I was shell shocked to see how radiant my grandma's skin looked even when she was about 50 years old! Food #1: Alcohol

If you want to have clean and clear skin even during your old age, then, bid good bye to this vice at the earliest. People who intake alcohol like a bottomless pit will start showing signs of aging like wrinkles and crow's feet when they are in the early 30s.

Alcohol increases the number of free radicals in the body that destroy the healthy cells in the body and promote cell degeneration. This is what gives rise to premature aging. Hence, this is one of the main anti aging foods to avoid.

Food #2: Fried Food

Did you say you love French fries and fried chicken? Then, you can bid good bye to clear skin. Fried foods in any form are very detrimental for the health of your skin.
